The Foundation, through its charitable giving, seeks to make a meaningful difference through its focus on three pillars: empowering women, protecting the environment, and supporting organizations in the communities in which we live and work.
About Our Foundation
The Halstatt Charitable Foundation leverages the time, talents, and resources of the Sproul family, along with the employees of Halstatt, to support causes whose missions align with the mission statement of the foundation. The Foundation, through its charitable giving, seeks to continue making a meaningful difference in the communities in which we live, work and raise our children.
The Foundation makes grants to nonprofits that qualify for public charity status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. They must meet the following guidelines:
Grants typically range from $1,000 to $5,000. In limited cases, larger grants may be made at the discretion of the Board.
Based in Naples, FL, the Halstatt Charitable Foundation has no geographic restrictions for support, however, priority may be given to communities in which Halstatt does business, employees live or Sproul family members live, work, or have other ties.
The Foundation does not support grants to individuals, religious activities, or program-related investments.
All grants are evaluated by the Foundation Board of Directors. Please apply at least 60 days in advance of an event.
Currently, grant proposals are only being considered on an invitation-only basis. Please do not send unsolicited materials. We ask that invited applicants contact the Executive Director, Jen Sullivan, at foundation@halstatt.com for a copy of the Foundation’s application.
